Melbourne gets ready to rally

Marriage equality supporters will take to the streets of Melbourne on May 12 to protest for an end to the same-sex marriage ban. Equal Love protests will also be held in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney on the same day. The rally kicks off at 1pm, at the State Library, Swanston St, city.

  1. Would love to support the cause.. but being a weekday its impossible for me to get there..i agree a weekend rally would allow more supporters. best luck to all tomorrow.

  2. When will a rally be held on a Sunday so everyone can attend, do they not realise the numbers could treble. This is great for the unemployed or office workers but hospitality, retail etc miss out every time
