Women’s rugby group seeks funding
Members of the women’s team at the Waverley Rugby Club, the largest rugby club in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, will march in next month’s Mardi Gras parade, and are currently seeking a Mardi Gras sponsor who will provide funding for their parade entry.
Waverley members decided to march to promote the sport and healthy living, support the LGBTI community and equality for all, recruit players and raise the profile of the game.
While $1000 is the sponsorship amount the club requires, all offers are welcome. In return, sponsor companies and organisations can enjoy maximum exposure on the club’s parade banner, T-shirts and website.
