WHAT’S ON (Sydney): Rally for a Free Vote for Marriage Equality
ON Sunday, Sydneysiders are encouraged to support the recent movement for marriage equality by coming together for a rally to call on the government to allow a free vote.
The rally will take place at Gilligan’s Island under the rainbow flag at Taylor Square in Darlinghurst, and will feature a soon-to-be-announced guest speaker.
People attending are encouraged to bring along creative placards and the Australian Marriage Equality (AME) group will hand out rainbow flags.
The AME are promoting this event as non-partisan, and as a unified show your support for marriage equality.
