Tickets are now on sale for the Buck$ Night party, a major fundraising event in support of Australian Marriage Equality (AME) taking place at Slide Bar on September 23.

Events such as the NSW ALP Conference’s failure to endorse a motion in support of marriage equality have highlighted the need for strong and ongoing support for AME in the lead-up to the ALP’s National Conference — and what better way to raise some money than a massive bucks night.

DJs including Kate Monroe, Dan Murphy, Adam Watts, Chip, Baby Bear, Gavyn Vincze, Matt Effect and Frankie Shin will donate their time.

Buck$ Night promoter Randel Morris said punters could expect a “sexy and fun boys night out”, with go-go dancers, strip shows, and surprise special appearances to be announced in coming weeks.

Kicking off with a sexy show by the Sydney Stingers, expect performances by the Sydney Convicts, Lifesavers with Pride and the Harbour City Bears.

New Mardi Gras’ Kabi will handle the creative side of the night along with Lewis Oswald, with choreography by Laurence Stark. Major sponsors include the Star Observer and
