A big month of hiking
The Southern Cross Outdoors Group has been busy organising various activities this month. On Saturday, November 21, the group will head north for a Barrington Tops camping weekend. The trip takes hikers to Gloucester Tops in the Barrington Tops National Park.
Numbers are limited so contact the group quickly if you’re interested in this small wilderness adventure.
In the meantime the group will hike from Little Bay to Little Congwong in the Botany Bay National Park on Sunday, November 29. The group will meet at 8.30am and will walk along track past the pistol club then it’s a coastal walk via the remnants of the squatter’s shantytown.
You don’t have to be a member to participate in SCOG activities, but membership is available which allows the opportunity to vote at meetings and receive printed copies of their newsletter.
