Behind the scenes with Matthew Morrison
Glee hottie Matthew Morrison, who plays everyone’s favourite Spanish teacher, has released behind the scenes footage of rehearsals for his upcoming solo tour.
The aspiring pop star is seen rehearsing his debut single Summer Rain, which is released internationally on iTunes today.
Sadly not a Belinda Carlisle cover, the track has drawn comparisons with Train’s Hey, Soul Sister for its breezy, semi-acoustic sound and sing-a-long chorus.
The subject matter – of having sex in the great outdoors – has drawn criticism from some Gleeks but the finished product comes across as positively tame by today’s standards.
Summer Rain is the lead single from Morrison’s debut album, which is believed to include duets with Elton John and Leona Lewis.
