Katy Perry to do sitcom

Katy Perry has revealed the fourth single from her hugely successful Teenage Dream album and announced a guest appearance on hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

The latest single from the singer’s Grammy nominated album will be E.T. – originally known as Futuristic Lovers when it leaked early last year.

Penned by Max Martin and Dr. Luke, the production team behind Britney’s new single Hold It Against Me, E.T. has a lot to live up to.

The previous three singles from Teenage Dream have all reached number one and she’s hoping to extend that streak.

A guest appearance on hit TV show How I Met Your Mother certainly won’t hurt.

Katy announced that she will follow in Britney’s footsteps by appearing in an episode called Oh Honey later this season.

It’s going to be a busy year for Mrs Russell Brand.

She has been nominated for four Grammy awards including the prestigious Album of the Year and kicks off a massive world tour in February.
