Sneak look at Kylie’s costumes

Pop legend Kylie Minogue is the cover girl of this month’s Venue Magazine, the official publication of London’s O2 Area where she will soon perform five sold out shows of her Les Folies tour.

Kylie describes the concert as a celebration of her 20-plus year career and promises to take the audience on an unforgettable journey.

“Each tour I do represents where I am musically and personally at that time. I’ve now been in the business for more than 20 years, so for this series of concerts I want to celebrate,” she explains.

“To this end, I’m putting all I have into this show to make it a magical experience – I want the audience to feel pure pop escapism and to feel they can reach celestial heights.”

As for the 25 million pound stage and water jets?

“It’s ambitious!” she admits. “But I think a pop concert should be.

“It will be the biggest show I’ve ever done.”

This morning La Minogue took to You Tube to post a few glimpses of the amazing costumes we can expect to see when the tour opens in Europe in six days time.

As we’ve come to expect, the costumes look breathtakingly detailed — necessary for the diminutive pop princess to shine while on stage.

The You Tube footage accompanies previously released band and choreography rehearsals.

There is still no word about Australian tour dates but an announcement is surely only a matter of time if the July/August dates we’ve been told to expect are correct.
