Kylie to tour USA
Australia’s most successful musical export, Kylie Minogue, has announced plans for her first ever tour of the USA and Canada.
Minogue, who has dominated the pop charts around the globe for more than 20 years, has always struggled to find an audience State-side, though in Canada she has sold millions of records.
In a press statement released overnight, the Aussie gay icon, who has twice performed at Mardi Gras, announced a six-date tour to take in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Toronto from the end of September.
Pre-sale tickets for Kylie mailing list members went on sale overnight, with the New York concert selling out in minutes and a second date added.
The presale closes Thursday May 14.
Minogue recently performed at the Top of the Mountain event in Ischgl after spending summer in her hometown of Melbourne.

European and Australian success in the 80s thanks to Stock Aitken Waterman, then years of dropping sales as self-proclaimed ‘indie’ Kylie tries to prove she isn’t just bubblegum pop, followed by a return to the latter for her now dwindling audience ( check the sales of her last album ) of squealing queens, partying hard like it’s 1989.
Try Lady Gaga or Roisin Murphy if you need further proof that Minogue lost it a long time – if she ever had it.
Most successful music export, yikes. I am sure the boys from ACDC would have something to say about that. World success requires one to be more popular everywhere !
