The Harbour Party’s Diminishing Returns
The organisers of this year’s Harbour Party, “Azure”, this week got the go-ahead to stage the 2004 event, but questions have arisen about the amount and allocation of funds raised by the 2003 party.
This year’s party -” staged for the first time by Iris Group Productions -” raised $45,000 for community groups, including $35,000 for the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby (although it has not yet been received -” see box), $3,800 for the Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service and $3,800 for Twenty10.
