Jazz Gaga

Lady Gaga proved her versatility as a performer last night by belting out a pair of jazz standards in a New York club.

Mother monster, as she is affectionately called by fans, turned her back on the People’s Choice Awards in LA to perform alongside friend Brian Newman at the Oak Room.

The Grammy nominated superstar wowed the crowd by covering George Gershwin’s Someone To Watch Over Me (below) and Nat King Cole’s Orange Coloured Sky.

Her reinvention as a jazz singer was well received by the audience, who praised her formidable vocal chops.

Chances are they were less impressed by her dubious new look.

Gaga appears to have fallen into a vat of fake tan, proudly showing off her orange hands to fans as she posed for pictures after the performance.

The diva is currently on a break from her world tour as she prepares to unleash her new single Born This Way on February 13.
