Russian Winter Games Fry’ed
Gay actor and author Stephen Fry has written an open letter to British Prime Minister David Cameron and the International Olympic Committee on his personal website, asking that both parties protest holding the Winter Olympics in Russia.
Fry has joined a cast of celebrities calling for Russia to be stripped of the 2014 Winter Olympics over a suite of recent anti-gay laws.
Apart from his personal website, the letter was circulated to Fry’s two million Twitter followers where he claimed Vladimir Putin “is making scapegoats of gay people, just as Hitler did Jews”.
