Spice Girls to reunite for Queen’s jubilee?

Is a Spice Girls reunion in the works? According to Melanie Brown (aka “Scary” Spice) it may be.

Mel B accidentally let slip that the ‘90s pop group may join forces again for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.

She made the comments on Channel Seven’s Sunrise when asked whether the rumours about the Spice Girls reuniting for London 2012 Olympic Games were true.

“Ooh, I think the Queen’s Jubilee concert is the event I’d be looking at more closely for that to happen,” she replied.

After the show it is reported that Brown lamented to studio workers about revealing the group’s covert plan, reports The Music Network.

“I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It’s all so totally bloody top-secret still,” they reported her saying.

She said she was enthusiastic about the upcoming reunion.

“For me to get my Scary hair on and my big platforms – any time of day,” she said.

“I’m a Spice Girl through and through.”

The Diamond Jubilee celebration is scheduled for June 4 at London’s Buckingham Palace and marks the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s reign.
