Gay country track for Tamwroth
Gay? Love country music? Need a new track to bootscoot to?
Out Tamworth-based singer and musician Steve Charles has released his latest single Let’s Go! from the forthcoming album Welcome to Club Country.
The track is expected to become a crowd favourite at the 2010 Tamworth Country Music Festival in January.
The track has a late ‘80s feel crossed with a little chicken-peck country and ‘70s disco feel — think Give Your Love To A Cowboy Man and Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy.
Charles, who has been a songwriter, acoustic and jazz touring act for many years, has been booked for several late-night party venue gigs and appearances during the up coming festival.
