CATWALK (HABIBI)
Reg Project
From a crew out of Lebanon, Habibi means darling or sweetheart in Arabic. And it’s just so damn sexy. It oozes with that close-your-eyes, pout-those-lips and-shimmy-baby feeling.
WUNDERVOLL
Wolfsheim
Those Germans -¦ so fucking clever! Berlin is probably one of the most unique places I’ve visited in terms of music production. They are the electronic elite -“ just think Kraftwerk! Wundervoll, meaning wonderfully, is full of euphoria and you won’t want to stop climbing. It’s really uplifting.
FORBIDDEN PLANET
Dr Kucho
Picture this -“ an exotic oasis in the middle of the Sahara Desert full of gorgeous Arabian knights awaiting your arrival. This is the soundtrack to your journey there and when it peaks you’ll be floating in a sandstorm of wild, limitless pleasure.
ADDICTED
Only Child
Fresh off UK dance floors, the vocals in this are infectious. It’s a really well-produced house track and, as Veba the vocalist on it says, you’ll be an addict, addicted to the music. You’ll be transported to a funked-up electro discoth?e with this one and I reckon it’ll have a long life on the campest of dance floors.
SAT DAY NIGHT
Crackpot
I try to support local artists wherever I can, especially on radio, and it’s always a pleasure to plug this track. It’s quirky house for quirky people. I can play it again and again and there’s always something new to discover.
