Health in men

Health in men

HIV-negative gay Sydney men are required for the extensive Health In Men research project being run by ACON, AFAO, the National Centre in HIV Social Research and the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology. Participants will have a one-on-one confidential interview at the research centre’s Darlinghurst office. An interviewer will ask a series of questions about HIV, safe sex, experiences with sex partners, health and feelings about the gay community. Participants also take an HIV test. Participants are needed from across the gay and bisexual community whether they are sexually active or inactive or concerned about HIV or not concerned at all. The research results will be used by public health services to address issues of relevance to the HIV-negative community. To register interest or get more information about the project, ring 1800 445 569, email [email protected] or enrol online at www.med.unsw.edu.au/nchecr/ him_study.html.
