Queer Screen shorts

Australian gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer short filmmakers can get their film shown to a large audience for free. Red Carpet Night and Queer Screen are presenting a special night of queer cinema at the Valhalla Cinema on Sunday 30 November.

Red Carpet Night is a non-competitive event all about films -“ one of the filmmakers will receive a prize based on a random draw. To enter, send films with full contact details to Red Carpet Submissions, Queer Screen Ltd, PO Box 1081, Darlinghurst, NSW 1300, or drop them into Queer Screen at 11/94 Oxford St, Darlinghurst, NSW 2010. Submissions need to be received by Friday 31 October. Queer Screen, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association and Greater Union Double Bay are also showing the Bette Davis and Joan Crawford classic Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? on Friday 31 October from 8pm. Tickets are $12 for Queer Screen or SGLBA members and $15 for everyone else.
