The Sydney Outfielders softball team has taken silver at the Queensland Corporate Games, held in Brisbane last weekend. Taking the field with a new name, the Oporto Pink Mitts, the Outfielders managed to outplay their opponents to come second out of 16 teams. The win puts the team in good stead for their upcoming trip to Copenhagen to take part in the OutGames. Apart from building up their skills, the Outfielders are looking to raise money to help them achieve their dreams in Copenhagen. They will be hosting a fundraising trivia night on Saturday 28 June for all friends, family and supporters.

The Outfielders’ fundraising trivia night will be on 28 June at the Alexandria/Erskineville Bowling Club, 1 Fox Ave, Erskineville. Cost is $20. RSVP to Rob, 0410 538 364 or at gonefishin2@iprimus.com.au.
