Eddie Izzard’s Australian tour saw its first two shows at the Sydney Opera House selling out in 30 minutes, and there’s now a third chance to see the stand-up star at Sydney’s State Theatre on Monday, November 21 due to the demand.

From selling out Madison Square Garden and Wembley Arena to being the first solo stand-up comedian to sell out the Hollywood Bowl and performing his show in French for three months in Paris, Izzard has become known as a comedic powerhouse.

In recent years he’s earned critical acclaim for his starring role in television show The Riches, guest starred on United States of Tara, nabbed a few Emmys and appeared alongside Tom Cruise in Valkyrie and George Clooney and Brad Pitt in Oceans 12 and 13.

His show Stripped has toured the UK, US and Europe picking up rave reviews to the sold out performances.

Stripped will travel to Adelaide, Brisbane Canberra, Melbourne and Perth, as well as Sydney.
