More than 50 performers from all over the world will travel to Sydney in the name of Mardi Gras this weekend.
Boy George will be pumping out beats with his DJ set and headlining girl group Young Divas will perform. The Freemasons, Paul Mac, Sarah McLeod, the Presets and Paul Goodyear will also be making appearances.
Mardi Gras spokesperson Ryan McMahon, told Sydney Star Observer this party would be better than last year’s.
With the main theme of the night being love, the atmosphere is going to be awesome and really friendly.
The massive complex located in Moore Park will be divided into seven venues to suit all tastes.
The Royal Hall of Industries venue will be turned into the Australian outback with the we love a sunburnt country theme.
The Hordern Pavilion will take partygoers back in time to the 1920s with gin martinis, grand ballrooms and private steam train cabins.
The famous Dome will electrify the inner rock chick with the we love sensations’ theme zapping out alternative beats.
The Fox and Lion venue will be the new Vegas with drag queens and showgirls sharing their cabaret style.
In the City Live domain, the we love lycra theme will be felt, with fluoro leotards and Reebok costumes being flaunted.
The Fuse Bar is being transformed into a we love girls room with sexy stripteases and a kissing booth promising to get the juices flowing.
The Gaydar Forecourt will host a party under the stars, with house and trance sounds booming around the clock.
With all the new venues, it’s going to make this Mardi Gras event the most unique party ever. It has a fresh new vibe and it’s going to be the best one yet, McMahon said.
