Dining out for men’s health

When his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, openly gay Robbie Robertson (pictured, right, with chef Sean Connolly) found there were few social networks available where he could discuss prostate cancer and so, with the support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, in 2008 the Table4Ten charity was born.

This year’s Table4Ten dining event will take place across Sydney on Tuesday, September 28 with the help of 54 high-profile restaurants and venues donating tables of 10, and 500 diners expected.

Restaurants participating include Astral, Buon Ricordo, Guillaume at Bennelong, Marque, Quay and Tetsuya’s, and venues like the Australian Museum, the Powerhouse Museum and the Commonwealth Bank Vault.

After indulging in some of the most scrumptious food Sydney has to offer, diners will be whisked off to a secret location for a night of entertainment and fundraising.
