Go glam at 2011 Mardi Gras

Tickets are on sale now for Glamorama, the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation’s seated area at the 2011 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.

Designed as way to experience the parade without having to deal with the enormous crowds that the event attracts, Glamorama includes two reserved seating areas which provide uninterrupted views of the entire parade, the Glamstand and Parade Premium Seating.

Tickets to these areas include access to food outlets, licensed bars and toilets. Pre-ordered picnic boxes will be available to purchase so that people seated in these areas can avoid queues.

An exclusive bar space is also part of the event. Tickets to the Glamour Bar include food, six alcoholic drinks and free water throughout the night.

Proceeds from the event will go back into the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation’s programs, which help and support people living with HIV.

The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation is Australia’s longest-running HIV charity, providing a number of services to people disadvantaged by HIV, including direct financial and practical assistance, financial counselling, housing and employment support.

The 2011 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade will take place on March 5.
