Host a table for charity

Last year Table4Ten (T4T) raised $100,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and this year the organisers hope to double that figure.

The money raised was used to help set up new support groups in rural and regional areas of NSW, where men with the cancer were unable to access a support group.

Normally an invite-only event, T4T is extending the invitation to members of the public who are interested in hosting their own table.

The event remains an invite-only event at this stage, but there will be a section on our website where anyone can write in with their details and tell us why they’re passionate about supporting prostate cancer, and why they would like to be involved, T4T chair Robbie Robertson said.

We will review submissions and pick a couple of hosts based on the best stories and the most passionate entries.

The selected hosts will be responsible for raising funds and organising their table.
They will be responsible for selling tickets to fill their table and ensuring their guests have a fabulous night at their chosen restaurant, Robertson said. The format will be the same, however, this year we’re aiming to have 50 restaurants on board, as compared to 32 last year.
