Midnight Shift meeting tonight
Supporters of Midnight Shift owner Tim Berry have been asked to attend a gathering being held at the ACON building tonight at 6pm.
Berry’s business partner Clarence Cruz sent out the call by text last night.
“We need your support!” read the text, “Tim Berry had given so much to the gay community including the establishment of ward 117 south at St Vincent.”
“Pls spare 1hr of ur time to attend public gathering at ACON office meeting room, 9&10, 9 Commonwealth St. 6pm. Thank You.”
Berry has been battling to regain control of the Midnight Shift since the owners of the building that houses the nightclub changed the locks and took over the business on July 3 after money owed to them came due.
Cruz and Berry were out of the country at the time.
A court hearing has been scheduled for August 25-27 to settle the matter.
