Nude calendar puts Shayne in the picture

A new male calendar called Men After Dark is set to hit Oxford Street this month featuring the work of photographer Shayne Fergusson.
Fergusson said the nude and semi-nude portraits were chosen because they were different from other calendar shots.
The models I used had something interesting about them, a special characteristic, and I wanted to distinguish them from other models you see in the other magazines. I wanted them to look good but not perfect, Fergusson said.
I wanted to make them a bit more real and show the more real guy that hasn’t been preened and plucked and made to conform to the perfect image.
Fergusson will donate 10 percent of profits from the calendar’s sale to the AIDS Trust. It will be sold at Aussie Boys, The Bookshop Darlinghurst, Sax Fetish, the Toolshed, Salt Clinic and online.
