Pink presence at indigenous protest
A small but vocal crowd gathered outside State Parliament in Hobart last Thursday as part of an indigenous rights protest.
Organised by delegates from the 2007 Queer Collaborations conference, the theme was “Queers in solidarity with indigenous resistance”.
It was held as part of a national day of action for indigenous rights, with a focus on the military intervention in Northern Territory Aboriginal communities.
