Rodman reigns at the table
Flamboyant basketballer Dennis Rodman will be demonstrating his flair for cards this Tuesday 18 March at a charity poker tournament.
Rodman will be one of the high profile sporting stars taking part in the Star City Battle of the Codes tournament. Competing for a prize of $10,000, Rodman will be up against the likes of Jared Crouch from the Sydney Swans and Sydney Kings player Jason Smith.
“I’m really looking forward to coming to Australia,” Rodman said.
“I urge everyone to come and watch, and let’s hope my poker skills help me win the game.”
Irrespective of the winner, all proceeds will be donated to Camp Quality, a not-for-profit charity which provides help for children with cancer.
