Tas activists target Brethren
The Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commission has been urged to ask the state Liberal Party and religious organisation Exclusive Brethren for documents relating to their state election advertising campaign last year. The campaign attacked the transgender and gay community.Tasmanian transgender activist Martine Delaney made the appeal, saying the documents would reveal who was behind the campaign.A hearing into allegations the campaign incited hatred against the transgender community is due to open on 28 February.
