EUROVISION

The AIDS Trust will be holding its campest event ever, all in the name of the Eurovision Song Contest. For show queens and charity lovers it’s a competition that everyone loves. The event will be held at Mr Mary’s in Redfern from 5:30pm on Sunday 13 May. Entry is $5 with prizes being awarded on the night. Make sure you bring a scorecard so you can vote for your favourite performer.

PIPPIN

There are only two weeks to go for the National Musical Theatre Company’s production of Pippin as it must close on 19 May. DOLPHINS

Wanting to party it up in Western Sydney? The Dolphin dance club will be holding its fortnightly GLBT event on 12 May. There will be a cheap sausage sizzle available and $7 entry. The host and DJ is Rita and it runs from 8:30pm until 2am. Dolphins Dance Club is at Parramatta Golf Club, Park Parade.

IMPOSSIBLE BLONDE

For a night of songs by the likes of Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Peggy Lee and Doris Day, visit the Statement Cabaret Lounge. Katrina Retallick will present snapshots of gay icons over the decades. Impossible Blonde plays at the Statement Cabaret Lounge from 10 to 19 May at 8pm. Tickets are $30. JOHN ROWE GIVEAWAY

He’s a man of all sorts but offer’s a unique night of great entertainment. With a band on his side, John Rowe will be hosting a type of talk show with interviews from various celebrities. With competitions and disco dancing tips, the Lounge Room is intimate and relaxed which everyone can relate to. Weekly shows start on Wednesday 9 until 30 May, 8:30pm, Sydney Seymour Centre.
