EUROVISION
The AIDS Trust will be holding its campest event ever, all in the name of the Eurovision Song Contest. For show queens and charity lovers it’s a competition that everyone loves. The event will be held at Mr Mary’s in Redfern from 5:30pm on Sunday 13 May. Entry is $5 with prizes being awarded on the night. Make sure you bring a scorecard so you can vote for your favourite performer.
PIPPIN
There are only two weeks to go for the National Musical Theatre Company’s production of Pippin as it must close on 19 May. Wanting to party it up in Western Sydney? The Dolphin dance club will be holding its fortnightly GLBT event on 12 May. There will be a cheap sausage sizzle available and $7 entry. The host and DJ is Rita and it runs from 8:30pm until 2am. Dolphins Dance Club is at Parramatta Golf Club, Park Parade.
IMPOSSIBLE BLONDE
For a night of songs by the likes of Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Peggy Lee and Doris Day, visit the Statement Cabaret Lounge.
