UNAIDS chief in Sydney

Head of UNAIDS Michel Sidibé spent last Friday in Sydney as a guest of the Lowy Institute for International Policy.

Sidibé spent Friday afternoon visiting the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre in Kings Cross and St Vincent’s Hospital before heading to a reception at Slide where he delivered a rousing speech to a room full of guests.

Sidibé heads the world fight against HIV as the Executive Director of the United Nations institution with global carriage of the HIV response.
