Jonathan Duffy’s long-awaited documentary The Doctor’s Wife will have its premiere in the town it’s about, Mundubbera, later this month. The doco charts the journey of Duffy and his partner, Dr Vincent Cornelisse, as they move from Brisbane to the remote rural town, finding themselves quite literally ‘the only gays in the village’. It’ll screen at Mundubbera Shire Hall on September 24, with screenings in Sydney and Melbourne still in the planning stages.
