ANTHONY Callea and Tim Campbell have announced that they are New Zealand-bound to tie the knot.
The couple, who have been together for seven years, revealed that the decision to marry was made at home one quiet night in.
“We were sitting on the couch and I was on my second scotch and Tim was on his first white wine and we made the decision there and then,” Callea told tabloid magazine Woman’s Day.
Having previously told family and friends that marriage was not for them, the couple said they were “the most non-traditional couple”.
“I wish I had a romantic story about it all on the Sydney Harbour Bridge or something,” Campbell said.
The couple will travel to New Zealand for an intimate ceremony where gay marriage is recognised.
