JOY launches Community Safety Month

This October, JOY 94.9 and the Anti-Violence Project (AVP) are joining forces to launch the GLBTIQ communities’ Community Safety Month, in partnership with Victoria Police.
Activities begin on October 1, with a live broadcast from the Victoria Police Centre from 12pm. JOY broadcaster Paul Anthony will be joined by Chief Police Commissioner Simon Overland (pictured), Gay & Lesbian Avisory Unit manager Sgt Scott Davis, Region One GLLO Senior Constable Gabrielle Tyacke and AVP head Greg Adkins.
The program is the first of a series of specials to be broadcast on JOY throughout October exloring Community Safety Month.
