Beccy Cole to play Mixed Froots

This year’s Mixed Froots dinner at the Hunter region’s Rainbow Visions Festival will have a country flavour.

Australian country music star Beccy Cole will be the night’s entertainment, while diners will also hear from lawyer Kath Fielden about their legal rights.

Cole, who made up the Songbirds with Gina Jeffreys and Sara Storer, is a seven-time Golden Guitar winner who has toured with Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell. She released her sixth album, Pre-Loved, this year.

Kath Fielden is a family law specialist and principal solicitor at Fielden and Associates, with an interest in same-sex relationships, de facto property settlement, children’s matters and alternatives to court.

The two-course dinner will be held on November 5 at Boulevard on Beaumont, at 131 Beaumont St, Hamilton. The cost is $60 per head. Booking options range from individual seats to tables of 10.

Diners are asked to arrive by 6.30pm.

The eighth annual Rainbow Visions Festival runs November 3-7. Other highlights include a gay fair day in Newcastle, a dance party, a recovery picnic and tours of the Hunter Valley wine country.
