Canadian-born pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen is set to release her debut album, entitled Kiss, to her Australian fans on September 14.

Her first single Call Me Maybe sat at No. 1 on the US Hot 100 charts for a total of eight weeks and has earned Jepsen a MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best New Artist. Having worked on the album with artists like LMFAO’s Redfoo and most recently her collaboration with Owl City, Jepson said she can’t believe her luck.

“It has been the most fulfilling experience,” she said.

“The record is pop. It’s inspired by Robyn, The Cars, Madonna and, believe it or not, James Taylor.”

With her songs being catchier than the common cold, rest assured Kiss will be and album that gets stuck in your head – and stays there.
