ChillOut sets fundraising record

ChillOut organisers are celebrating after this week announcing a record $25,553 in fundraising.

The money to be divided between the Buddies for Wildlife program ($12K), the Hepburn Wildlife Shelter ($12K) and the local CFA ($1.4K).

It just goes to show what can be done when people forget their differences and unite in a common cause, with gay and straight people working together to support and enhance the local community for everyone, especially the most vulnerable, such as children and wildlife, ChillOut president, Doug Pollard said.

ChillOut 2010 will be held March 5-8.
