IDAHO gets vocal

A rally organised by Community Action Against Homophobia will be held on the International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) this Sunday 17 May in Newtown.

Rallying at 1pm under the I have a dream mural on King St, CAAH will call on Australia to be a home to gay and lesbian refugees fleeing homophobic persecution. The event will also protest the same-sex marriage ban.

A public debate on same-sex adoption rights organised by NSW Young Lawyers will be held at noon this Friday in Martin Place, and will be followed by the launch of the online photo campaign against homophobia.

The IDAHO art exhibition will be launched this Saturday at noon at the Pine Steet Creative Arts Centre.
