Blondie and the Panic of Girls

Blondie and the Panic of Girls

Blondie are putting the finishing touches to their 9th studio album Panic Of Girls.

It was originally set for release last year but the opus was delayed when the iconic new wave band parted ways with their record company.

Debbie Harry & co eventually signed a deal with a publishing house that now plans to release Panic Of Girls in book stores and newsagents across the UK in conjunction with a special 132-page magazine on May 30.

The album is, however, expected to get a more traditional release in the rest of the world.

For a taste of what’s to come, listen to the album’s first single Mother (bottom of post), a song that Debbie describes as “so simple but I’m very proud of it”.
